Candy Cane Candle
Here’s a great Christmas centerpiece that’s extremely easy to make. To make this craft, you’ll need a lot of candy canes, a fairly large lead free wicked candle, and some ribbon.
First, take the candle and place it in the middle of your table. Pick up the candy canes and place them upside down, hook side out around the candle. You can glue them in place if you choose, and it may help hold them in place as you work your way around the candle. Then, when you’re finished, tie a bow around the middle using the ribbon. If you’d like, you may also use the candy canes facing upright, with the hooks facing outwards. This will give it a little bit different look, and is no more difficult to make.
That’s it. Easy enough, wasn’t it?
A warning- the plastic on the wrappers may melt, and so might the candy canes. Be very, very careful if you decide to actually light the candle and put this project to use. But this is definitely one that’s cute enough without the candle lit that you shouldn’t feel bad if you decide not to.
