Wallpaper Stencil
This takes a really large stencil, a craft knife, some wallpaper, and a very steady hand. But in the end, you will have a very unique stencil, quite unlike any other.
First, choose a very loud retro print wallpaper. These always seem to end up looking the best. Lay it flat on a table with a cutting mat underneath it. Place your stencil over it. You should tape the stencil in place along the outside edges, but only if you’re certain that it won’t rip the wallpaper, or if it won’t be seen on your design.
Using an Exacto knife, cut along the inside of the stencil. Go very slowly. The better you get this, the better your design will turn out. When you’re finished cutting, remove the stencil, and apply the wallpaper to your wall as you normally would. You’ll be left with a really cool retro style stencil. And with a little patience, you can do much of your wall in this way.
